About this site
I try things I'm curious about, make things, and keep a record of the process. I write about philosophy and how to live, and about the body and food, checking papers and data along the way.
It's a personal archive that records not only finished work, but things I'm still thinking about and things I'm still making. The site was first written in Japanese; this is the English edition.
How the articles are written
- For articles on the body, food, and health, I check research papers and information from public bodies as far as I can, and cite sources in the text.
- I try to keep separate what research has shown, what is not yet known, and my own impressions.
- Health articles are general information and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a doctor.
- If I find an error, I check it, correct it, and note the update date on the article.
- English articles are translations of the Japanese originals. The numbers, sources, and claims are the same.
Advertising
The Japanese edition carries advertising and affiliate links to Japanese shops, labeled "PR" or "広告" (advertisement). The English edition does not carry affiliate links. For details, see the privacy policy.
